Jamshedpur, June 24: Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) observed Olympic Day on June 23 in presence of Olympic Gold Medallist, Floris Jan Bovelander. The day is observed as a celebration of the Olympic movement and its core values of excellence, friendship, and respect.The day also witnessed an exhilarating hockey clash ensued between Team Floris vs Team NTHA Coaches where in Team Floris defeated Team NTHA Coaches in the final shoot-out.
NTHA boys’ team along with 50 players also attended a session with Floris where he shared his Olympic gold medal journey, discipline, skills and memories he had here in the early years of NTHA. During the lively interaction of Kids with Floris, the young hockey enthusiasts radiated excitement and cheered for the Indian contingent participating in the Paris 2024 Olympics. This further ignited the passion of these budding hockey players who aspire to make the country proud someday.
NTHA Project Director, Gurmeet Singh Rao was also present.
