Seraikela: Various projects under the National Rural Employment Programme (NREP) are pending in Seraikela due to the vacant post of executive engineer.
The office of executive engineer in the district is vacant since 21st December last. Two construction projects are pending in the area.
They are related to the construction of a boundary wall in Sodadih and another boundary wall of Kasi Sahu College hostel. Due to absence of executive engineer, departmental works are held up.
