No geographical compulsion for villagers during Sarkar Apke Dwar camps: DC

Jamshedpur, October 14: East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Vijaya Jadhav held a review meeting with the BDOs and COs of all the blocks and gave important guidelines regarding the successful implementation of Sarkar-Aapke Dwar program being organized in the first phase from October 12 to 22.

Expressing satisfaction over more than 20,000 applications received in the Panchayat level camps in the last two days, she said that a good number of people are coming to the camps, giving them correct information and ensuring that maximum number of applications are received and benefits of the schemes are provided should be the priority.

Deputy Commissioner said that those villagers who could not attend the camp organized in their panchayat due to any reason and come to apply in another panchayat nearby, then they should also submit their application. There is no geographical compulsion to accept the application, but keeping in mind the convenience of the general public, camps are being organized in their panchayat.

She said that the panchayats where the camp will be held the next day, distribute the forms of the schemes among the villagers a day in advance, this will result in an error-free form and awareness will also come among the people about joining the camp.

Officials were directed to coordinate among themselves and complete the work in linking people with government welfare schemes. Special awareness campaigns should be organised among the general public at the panchayat and village level so that more and more people can join the camp and take advantage of the schemes. All the CDPOs were directed to receive the applications of Savitri Bai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana by giving wide publicity among adolescent girls.

Instructions were given to ensure that 100 percent eligible beneficiaries get the benefits of some important schemes like Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, Chief Minister Pashudhan Yojana, Sarvajan Pension Yojana, Green Ration Card, Kisan Credit Card.

Emphasis was also given on distribution of blankets and dhoti sari lungi

All the BDOs and COs were directed to visit the Panchayat level camps and make intensive supervision, while in case of any problem, they were also asked to get guidance from the senior officials.
