Jamshedpur, Nov 26: East Singhbhum district reported 32 corona positive cases on Thursday, November 26. No COVID-19 death was recorded during the day.
The new positives took the Coronavirus tally to 16689. The death toll remained at 369 with no death reported in East Singhbhum district on Thursday.
24 people recovered of the virus on Thursday taking the total recovery to 16097 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 223.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 134048 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 373086 samples have been collected out of which 356836 have been tested and 340147 have turned out to be negative.
On the other hand, Coronavirus tally in Jharkhand on Thursday reached 1,08,388 as 230 new cases of Covid-19 were detected while 218 people were discharged from various hospitals across the Jharkhand. During the day 3 deaths were reported as a result of which the overall death count has reached to 961. One death each was reported from Bokaro, Deoghar, and Ranchi districts.
As per the information provided by the health department the number of active cases in the state was 2169 while number of cured and discharged cases stood at 1,05,258. The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 961.
