Jamshedpur, Nov 19: Former Jharkhand minister and independent candidate from the Jamshedpur East Vidhan Sabha seat, Saryu Roy will be supported in his election campaign by JD (U) national president and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. JD (U) leaders Sanjiv Acharya and Sanjay Thakur said that Nitish Kumar had directed party workers of both, Jamshedpur East and West Assembly constituencies to work for Saryu Roy. They informed that the Bihar Chief Minister would personally come to Jamshedpur and participate in road shows and hold at least three campaign meetings. A large contingent of JD (U) team is expected to camp in both the Jamshedpur VS constituencies. �The JD (U) executives are happy to work for Saryu Roy,� the party leaders stated. Roy has received open support of JMM executive president Hemant Soren. The current election scenario has further deepened the Saryu-Nitish friendship.
