Jamshedpur: As part of the sacred celebration of the 557th Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, a special Amrit Sanchar ceremony was held at the Telco Gurudwara Sahib, where 19 devotees were initiated into the holy Khalsa Panth, becoming true Sikhs of the Guru. The spiritual event was organized under the aegis of the Dharam Parchar Committee of Akali Dal, Jamshedpur.

The ceremony was conducted in the presence of the Panj Pyare — Jathedar Sukhdev Singh Khalsa, Bhai Ravindra Singh, Bhai Harjeet Singh, Bhai Rabinderpal Singh and Bhai Preetpal Singh — who performed the sacred Khande-di-Pahul ritual before Guru Granth Sahib Ji amidst reverberating chants of “Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.”

During the ceremony, the Amrit (holy nectar) was prepared and administered to 19 devotees, who were then instructed in the five articles of faith — Kesh, Kirpan, Kara, Kanga and Kachhera — and guided to live by the teachings of the Guru and the principles of the Khalsa Panth.

Granthi Singh Charanjit Singh conducted the prayers, while Jatinder Singh, Gurdev Singh, Ritik Singh, Harjinder Singh and Amritpal Singh served as volunteers, ensuring the smooth conduct of the ceremony. The event filled the Gurudwara premises with devotion and spiritual fervor.
