Nilanchal Iron and Power organises free health camp

Gamharia, May 16 : In an endeavor to provide healthcare facilities to the local community, Nilanchal Iron and Power Limited Company, based in Kandra organized a free health check-up camp at the upgraded Middle School Raghunathpur. The camp was inaugurated by Pio Hansda, the head of Dumra Panchayat.

Over 200 villagers availed themselves of the health check-up services provided at the camp. The attendees received essential medicines and medical advice to address their healthcare needs. Gangadhar Bajpai, Senior General Manager of the Company’s Human Resource and Personnel Department took the opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of prioritizing one’s health. He emphasized that neglecting even minor ailments can lead to serious consequences. Many individuals delay seeking medical treatment due to financial constraints resulting in significant difficulties later on. Bajpai also highlighted the company’s commitment to societal development through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The event witnessed the presence of key personnel from the company, including HR officers Ravi Singh, Vikas Chaudhary, and Vijay Sahu. Tapan Kumar Mandal, the Company’s Union General Secretary along with Vice President Raja Tudu, Treasurer Budeshwar Mandal, and Co-Secretary Bhim Manjhi graced the occasion. Furthermore, Dr. Nirjala Jha and Dr. BC Mahato, representing the health department shared their expertise to benefit the attendees.
