Jamshedpur, May 16: Shanti Niketan Middle and High School located near Bagbeda Colony Virlesh Maidan organized a commendable traffic awareness campaign aimed at educating the school children about various aspects of road safety. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed individuals, including Sangeeta Kumari, Social Worker Shashi Acharya, and Panchayat Samiti Member Sunil Gupta, who jointly provided valuable insights and tips on traffic-related matters.

In the presence of Traffic Station In-Charge Sangeeta Kumari, the school children were enlightened about important aspects emphasizing that individuals below the age of 18 should refrain from driving. Additionally, the students were educated about the mandatory requirement of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers, along with the significance of fastening helmet straps securely. The importance of adhering to all traffic rules and regulations was stressed with an emphasis on the penalties imposed for non-compliance. The session also included interactive question-and-answer segments, encouraging the children’s active participation.

The culmination of the event witnessed the administration of an oath to the school children, wherein they pledged to abide by all traffic-related rules diligently. Principal BN Chowdhary, Co-Principal KP Singh, along with teachers Om Prakash Sharma, Awadhesh Choubey, Nikita Kumari, Kamla Devi, and Sudhir, graced the occasion with their presence, emphasizing the school’s commitment to the holistic development and safety of their students.
