Jamshedpur, August 24: The annual election of Nikhil Bharat Bangh Sahitya Sammelan concluded on Sunday at Sakchi High School. On the occasion committee members of the outfit were elected.
Nikhil Dutta was elected the President while Jharna Kar was elected the Acting President of the outfit. Acting Vice-Presidents included Amarnath Mukherjee, Tapati Dutta and Tapan Sen Sharma while Shukla Rai Choudhary, Sumita Bera and Prashant Banerjee were elected as the Treasurer of Nikhil Bharat Bangh Sahitya Sammelan.
At the event newly elected President said that Bangh Sahitya Sammelan will focus on the upliftment of Bengali Culture, heritage and education.
It was unanimously decided that a National Convention of the outfit will be held at Agrasen Bhavan in the last week of December 2014.
