Jamshedpur, Oct 6: Niharika Soni�s three wicket haul and 25 not out with the bat helped Bokaro defeat Deoghar by five wickets in the JSCA Inter District Women’s (Sr.) Cricket Tournament held at Bokaro on Tuesday.
Batting first Deoghar scored 96 all out in 47.2 overs were Roshni Konnojia scored 15 runs of 54 balls, Shadhna Yadav made 13 not out while Vandana Gupta scored 13runs. Niharika and Kanaklata took 3 wickets each.
Chasing 97 to win Bokaro chased down the target in 24.1 overs scoring 100 for 5.
Women of the match was awarded to Niharika Soni of Bokaro. The award was presented by JSCA match Observer Mr. Kanu Chakraborty.
