Jamshedpur, Oct 6: The second match of JSCA Inter District Women’s (Sr.) Cricket Tournament played at Bokaro on Tuesday saw West Singhbhum register a comprehensive win.
The team defeated Hazaribag by 8 wickets. Priyanka Sawaiyan was declared the women of the match after her scoring 22 not out with the bat and she also took 2 wickets with the ball.
Hazaribag batting first just managed 45 runs in 19 overs. Priya Yadav scored 11runs; Lalit Kumari also made 11runs while Mridulata scored 5 runs. Priyanka and Sheela took 2 wickets each.
Chasing 46 runs to win West Singhbhum with the help of Priyanka Sawaiyan- 22 not out and Rashmi Gudia 10 chased down the target in 12.4 overs.
