Ranchi: National Investigation Agency (NIA) has intensified probe into the Patna serial blasts. The NIA sleuths interrogated two youths, identified as Naushad and Iftekhar, residents of Sithio near Ranchi, in connection with the blasts. Sources said Naushad had attempted to end his life earlier.
Another accused in the blasts, Imtiyaz Ansari, is in police custody. Two other suspects in the case, Numan and Taufiq, are at large. NIA sleuths are trying to find out information about the two.
Recently, investigators had investigated Imtiyaz’s father. The director general of police, Jharkhand, Rajiv Kumar, has said that the state police are coordinating with the NIA officials in a bid to make a dent into the terror network in Jharkhand.
