Jamshedpur, Nov 22: The Interact Club of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) organised a heart-warming outreach programme titled “Odha Do Zindagi” to mark World Kindness Day on 13 November 2025. The initiative aimed to support underprivileged families during the winter season by providing them with essential woollen clothing.
Students and teachers participated enthusiastically in the donation drive, contributing generously to the cause. The school collected a total of 450 woollen garments, including sweaters, jackets, shawls and caps. These items were gathered to help communities facing harsh winter conditions.
On 22 November 2025, members of the Interact Club distributed the collected clothing among the primitive Sabar community in Jharia, Block–Potka. The villagers, who continue to live in challenging circumstances, received the winter essentials with gratitude. The distribution was carried out with compassion, respect and a strong spirit of service.
The initiative not only brought physical warmth to the beneficiaries but also helped instil important values in students. Through this project, young volunteers learned the significance of empathy, social responsibility and the power of small acts of kindness.
The Interact Club has once again reinforced its dedication to community welfare, inspiring others to be active contributors to society. Teachers who played a key role in the initiative included Tr. Anuradha, Tr. Sushrita, Tr. Bishnu and Tr. Sagar.
