Jamshedpur, June 21: In this hour of pandemic and lockdown, it has become important to keep ourselves in good spirits and motivated to face the challenges of life. The Novel Coronavirus has brought to the forefront the significance of the wisdom of our sages who have over the ages, insisted on leading a healthy life.
Being physically and mentally healthy is important to fight any disease and there is no better way than yoga to develop a good immune system.

Every year International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June. Narbheram Hansraj English School celebrated the 6th International Yoga Day. It was celebrated with a difference. It was �Yoga at Home, with Family�. It was celebrated on digital media platform.
Students of STD � 6 to 11 participated. They performed the following asanas: Surya Namaskar, Paschimottanasana, Matsyasana, Koundinyasana, Chakrasana, Purvadhanurasana, Rajakapotasana, Tuladandasana,Trikonasana, Parvakonasana and Vayuasana.
Breathing exercises like Bhastrika Pranayam, Kapal Bhati and Anulom Vilom were also demonstrated.
Video of this session will be posted in all class groups so that students can practice at home.
