NHES celebrates World Kindness Day

Jamshedpur, Nov 13: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated World Kindness Day on November 13.

Spending time with grandparents, giving handmade gifts to loved ones, teaching siblings etc were some of the activities that students undertook to mark world Kindness Day.

Students of class IX and X collected money and gave gifts to the less privileged students of Shree N.H. Gujarati Medium School and the children of Birsa Basti, Panchwatinagar, Sonari.

“World Kindness Day promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to oneself, and to the world. The purpose of this day, celebrated on November 13 of each year, is to help everyone understand that compassion for others is what binds us all together, “said a teacher.

The students of the school also showed kindness towards the environment by replacing plastic waste baskets with paper mache bins made with newspaper. The underlying principle was recycle and reuse.

NHES team also paid homage to the Padma Shri awardees for their dedicated service towards community.

The purpose of this celebration was to foster generosity and compassion in the students.
