NHES celebrates Navratri with colour and devotion

Jamshedpur, September 27: Nabheram Hansraj English School (NHES) marked the festival of Navratri with great enthusiasm on September 26, bringing together students and teachers in a celebration of culture and tradition.

The programme began with a prayer to Goddess Durga, seeking blessings for wisdom, strength, and prosperity. The school campus came alive with vibrant performances as pre-primary students presented cultural acts, devotional songs, and lively Garba dances, filling the atmosphere with joy and energy.

Adding to the festive spirit, students and teachers dressed in colorful traditional attire, creating a bright and cheerful setting.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Principal Harwinder Kaur said, “Navratri is not just a festival, but a reminder of the triumph of good over evil. By celebrating it in school, we aim to instill in our students values of devotion, respect for culture, and togetherness.”
