Jamshedpur, September 27: As part of the Durga Puja celebrations, Kanya Puja was organized at RMS Balichela School by the school’s trustee Mahila Mandal. Continuing a tradition of the past 10 years, 90 girl students received Rs 500 each directly in their accounts. Along with this, food items, gifts, and stationery were also distributed among them.
The programme was attended by principal Pratima Sinha, trustee Mahila Mandal members Kumud Agarwal, Dr. Renuka Chaudhary, Richa Agarwal, Shashi Gadia, Shakun Bajaj, Sukun Jhunjhunwala, Manju Sawa, Geeta Agarwal, Poonam Verma, and Vandana Jain. Teachers, parents, and students also participated, making the occasion meaningful and festive.
