Jamshedpur: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) marked the 78th Independence Day with a flag hoisting ceremony led by Nakul Kamani, President of the School Managing Committee.

The event’s theme, ‘Viksit Bharat,’ featured a ‘Viksit’ walk by students, showcasing India’s achievements in science, technology, sports, and medicine. The ceremony also highlighted the continuation of the Literacy Programme for Women Support Staff, launched in 2022 as part of Amrit Mahotsav. The programme was handed over to the new Student Council leaders, who pledged to uphold it.

In an initiative by the Interact Club, notebooks, pens, pencils, and erasers were distributed to women support staff under the ‘Each one, Teach one’ programme.

Nakul Kamani addressed the students, offering words of inspiration. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and a call for students to embrace their roles as responsible citizens and future leaders.
