Karate champions felicitated by Jharkhand Minister

Jamshedpur: At the 78th Independence Day celebrations held at Gopal Maidan, two distinguished Karatekas, Niraj Kumar and Ms. Karnisha Das, were honored by Banna Gupta,  Minister of Health, Medical Education, and Family Welfare, Govt. of Jharkhand. Both are Black Belt holders and International Gold Medalists in Karate.

The ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Ananya Mittal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum; Manish Kumar, DDC; Kaushal Kishore, Senior SP; Avinesh Tripathy, District Sports Officer; and Rishav Garg, City SP. Kumar and Das, senior students of Tata Steel Karate Training Centre, have represented India in various international tournaments across Bangladesh, Nepal, and other locations.

They are also engaged in training boys and girls in Jamshedpur. The District Sports Officer, Avinesh Tripathy, was thanked for facilitating this recognition.
