Jamshedpur, March 29: In keeping with the directives of the District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar the last date for registering names of new voters was March 29. Accordingly, camps were opened and BLOs were set the task of registering new voters from Jadugoda and nearby areas. The camps were open between 9 am and 3 pm.
One such camp was opened in the Community Centre premises at UCIL residential colony to register new voters for booths 199, 203 and 198. Twelve new voters were registered at the camp.
