Seraikela, July 1: Seraikela-Kharsawan Deputy Commissioner A Dodde convened a meeting of all block development officials and circle officials of the district on Monday. He said Jal Shakti Abhiyan will be implemented in an effective manner. He said a lot of work will be done on water storage and conservation. Under the 14th Finance Commission, solar light installation and construction of pavers block road and solar water tower is to be done, he said.
The DC said beneficiary committees would be set up in all mohallas and villages wherever possible. All BDOs have been instructed in this regard, he said.
The DC said all eligible farmers would be given the benefit of Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yonana and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. He said letters were written to 2,35,880 raiyyas in this regard.
Among those present at the meeting included DDC Suresh Kumar Dudani, DRDA Director Mustakim Ansari, SDO Basarat Qayum and Panchayati Raj Officer Pramod Kumar Jha.
