
Jamshedpur, July 1: Centre for Astrological Study and Research for Public Welfare (CASAR), Jamshedpur is celebrating its 27th foundation day on July 1 and 2 at a city hotel. On the occasion ISRO scientist Dr Om Prakash Pandey through projector presented a study based astrology and astronomy. He informed that astrology is total science. Dr Pandey said that to help take astrology forward a land has been identified in Adityapur which help take the institute to newer heights.
Talking further, Professor SK Shastri said, the 29th Asian Astrologers� Conference will begin at Ram Mandir, Bistupur, from January 31 and will continue till February 2, 2020.
The three day long programme will witness astrologers from different Asian countries putting their heads together to discuss the present scenario and the future of astrology.
Professor SK Shastri, director, Centre for Astrological Study and Research for Public Welfare, informed that the programme will witness participation of astrologers from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Australia, Italy and USA.
Shastri said the main purpose behind organizing the conference was to re-establish astrology as a field of knowledge meant for public welfare and ensure participation of educated and intellectual people in promoting astrology.
Also present at the press conference was Dr Rajesh Bharti, general secretary, Dr. N Kumar, Bijay Singh, Dr. Tapan Roy, Chairman and others.
