Jamshedpur, July 4: A new railway ticket counter has been inaugurated in Diamond Market, Sakchi, Jamshedpur, providing essential services for railway passengers. Former state minister and AJSU party leader Ramchandra Sahis inaugurated the counter on Thursday, marking its official opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The counter will facilitate the booking of general tickets, reservation tickets, and cancellations.

Previously, the closure of a railway reservation counter in Sakchi had caused inconvenience to residents of Sakchi and surrounding areas, who had to travel to Tatanagar station for railway reservations. With the opening of this new counter, passengers can once again conveniently book their railway reservations locally in Sakchi.

Ajay Kumar, overseeing the facility, announced that the counter will operate six days a week from 8:15 am to 9 pm, and on Sundays, it will be open from 2 pm to 4 pm.
