Jamshedpur: Telco Thana Shanti Samiti warmly welcomed the newly appointed officer in-charge of Telco Thana, Prashant Kumar, in a simple yet heartfelt ceremony held at the police station premises. The event, attended by several members of the committee, aimed to establish a renewed commitment to fostering peace and security in the area.
Led by Nandlal Singh and Omprakash Upadhyay, the committee members presented a bouquet of flowers and a shawl to officer Prashant Kumar as a gesture of goodwill and collaboration. They expressed confidence in continuing their dedicated efforts towards police-public coordination, envisioning a stronger partnership under the leadership of the new officer.
Addressing the gathering, committee member D.D. Tripathi emphasized that administrative changes are part of a natural process, but the Shanti Samiti remains steadfast in its responsibilities. He assured that the committee would continue working diligently to ensure security, peace, and harmony in the area.
In his address, officer Prashant Kumar expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and pledged to uphold the trust placed in him by the community and the Shanti Samiti. He highlighted his proactive approach to policing, stating, “If the police are visible on the roads, citizens will not feel the need to visit the police station for safety concerns.” He assured the gathering of his commitment to maintaining peace and order in the area through strong community engagement.
