New labor laws jeopardize workers’ future: Raghunath Pandey

Jamshedpur, May 2: Under the leadership of Raghunath Pandey, General Secretary of the National INTUC Metal Federation and President of Jharkhand Aam Mazdoor Union cum JUSCO Workers Union, a rally was conducted near Ravindra Bhavan. The rally progressed into a meeting upon reaching the statue of Netaji Subhash Bose at Sakchi Mango Garden, where participants paid homage to the revered leader.

Addressing the gathering, Raghunath Pandey emphasized that May 1 marks the freedom of workers from slavery, yet the future of workers is now jeopardized by the implementation of four new labor laws. He expressed concerns that these laws have effectively turned unorganized workers into bonded laborers once again. Pandey pledged to intensify the fight for workers’ rights vigorously following the elections.

The meeting saw the presence of several notable figures including Gopal Jaiswal, CD S Krishna, Kamal Kishore Aggarwal, E Satish Kumar, Akhilesh Rai, Triveni Prasad, Manish Dubey, Rakesh Sahu, Praveen Kumar Rai, Mahesh Dubey, Ashok Singh, Vijay Yadav, MR Kumar, and Ravikant Shukla.
