Jamshedpur, May 2: A distressing incident occurred near the Kharkai bridge under Bistupur police station in Jamshedpur when a Sudha Dairy milk tanker overturned onto a passing motorcycle. The unfortunate collision resulted in the severe injury of the bike rider, Parasuram Sardar, a resident of Mundatand in Seraikela district, whose leg had to be amputated as a consequence.
Parasuram was en route to Adityapur on his motorcycle when the Sudha Dairy tanker lost control and toppled onto him near a roundabout.
The impact of the accident caused extensive damage to the bike and inflicted serious injuries on both Parasuram and the tanker’s driver, Bholaram.
Prompt action by local residents ensured that the injured were swiftly transported to MGM Hospital for urgent medical attention.
