Jamshedpur, June 2: New City SP of Jamshedpur Prashant Anand and DSP (Law & Order) Vimal Kumar took charge on Thursday.
They met SSP Anoop T Mathew. Significantly, Chandan Jha, who was the City SP of Jamshedpur has been transferred to SP Gumla while DSP (Law & Order) BN Singh has been transferred to CID.
2013 batch IPS officer Anand was earlier posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Hatia.
State government on Tuesday transferred Superintendent of Police (SP) of three districts including Hazaribagh, Gumla and Dumka. Government also transferred 15 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
For the first time SP (City and Rural) will be posted at Dhanbad.
