Neeta Agarwal takes charge as President of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West

Jamshedpur, July 8: The 45th installation ceremony of the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West for the Rotary year 2023-24 was successfully organized at a city hotel on Friday. DB Sundara Ramam, Vice President, Raw Materials, Tata Steel was the chief guest for the occasion. Neeta Agarwal took over as the new President of the club and Ashok Jha as the club secretary. The oath ceremony for the newly elected members of the executive committee was also conducted.

The main aim of Rotary is to serve society in the fields of education, healthcare, environment, and social development. It strives to uplift needy individuals and integrate them into mainstream society.

The chief guest honored the Rotarians by presenting them with mementos, while the outgoing district governor, Rotarian Pratim Banerjee, inducted the new members.

The chief guest appreciated the projects undertaken by the Rotary club in various fields and emphasized the importance and role of Rotary in today’s world.

It is worth mentioning that Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West received the Best Club award in the district for the year 2022-23. The newly elected president Neeta Agarwal, and secretary, Rotarian Ashok Jha, presented the outline of upcoming events.

Former president, Rotarian Amresh Sinha, conducted the installation program.
