Fun-filled events mark Sawan at DBMS College of Education

Jamshedpur, July 8: DBMS College of Education organized Sawan Mahotsav “Amrit Varsha” program on Saturday. The month of Sawan is characterized by greenery, freshness, heavy rains, and fun. Similar fun-filled program event took place at DBMS College of Education. The program included various competitions and cultural performances such as singing, mehndi (henna), and antakshari (musical game). The judges for the event were DBMS College Secretary Shripriya Dharmarajan, Deputy Principal Dr Monika Uppal, and Anjali Ganesan.

The programs were directed by Pamela Ghosh Dutta, Archana Raj, Poonam Kumari, Eva Shipra Mundu, Moushumi Dutta, Gayatri Kumari, Kanchan Tiwari, and Dr Arun Sajjan.

The students showcased their artwork with enthusiasm and creativity. In the Satvik food presentation competition, Soumya and Nidhi secured the first place, while Meena and Ashwita came in second. Ankita won the first place in the Mehndi competition, followed by Shagufta in second place, and Soni Kaur received a consolation prize. Renuka achieved the first place and Samiksha secured the second place in the Dupatta dyeing competition. The winners were felicitated by Sripriya Dharmarajan and Dr Monika Uppal.

Khushbu Mishra delivered the vote of thanks. Sudeep Pramanik assisted with technical aspects, and Julian Andhoni provided instrumental support.
