NEET exam conducted peacefully in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 7:  Medical entrance exam NEET was held in 499 cities across the country including Jamshedpur on Sunday. Five centers were made in Jamshedpur for the examination.

 According to the information, the examination at all the centers was peaceful and free from malpractices. The exam lasted from 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The candidates were given entry at the centers till half an hour before i.e. till 1.30 pm.

Earlier, the candidates started coming to the centers from 11.30 am.

During this, there was a huge crowd of parents outside the centres. Through NEET exam, students will be able to take admission in various courses including MBBS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS in medical colleges across the country. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had issued guidelines regarding the examination for the students before the examination.

According to the information, today around 5000 candidates appeared in the examination centers of Jamshedpur.

 In NEET 2023, a record 20 lakh 87 thousand 449 applications were made across the country. NTA had also issued some guidelines including dress code regarding NEET exam. According to this, wearing shoes and full sleeve clothes was not allowed. Even the pen was made available to the examinees at the examination center itself.
