Jamshedpur, June 1. The engine of Anand Vihar- Puri Neelachal Express, which reached Tatanagar after the accident at Suisa, was sealed under the leadership of Senior DEE Vinod Kumar.
During this, Tatanagar area manager Abhishek Singhal, station director M.L Rao, station superintendent OP Sharma and RPF officials were present. The engine was separated from the train and taken to line number 13 of the yard where officials from various departments are inspecting the engine.
Neelachal Express has been sent to Puri from Tatanagar with another engine. It is said that the order to investigate the reasons for the OHE breakage near Suisa station by a joint team has come from the South East Railway Zone.

It is suspected that the OHE broke after getting stuck in the panto due to a fault in the engine. Due to this, the loco pilot of Neelachal Express was taken off for questioning at Tatanagar. On the other hand, a team from the South East Zone is going to come to Tatanagar to check the condition of the engine so that the reason for the OHE breakage after getting stuck in the panto can be clarified. At the same time, the Chief Safety Commissioner of South East Zone will inspect the engine and facility at Tatanagar.
Two people have been injured in the accident in Neelachal Express train near Suisa station of Ranchi Railway Division have been admitted to a private hospital in Muri. One of them is said to be in critical condition.
On Saturday (1 June) at around 8 am, the wire of the ponton of Neelachal Express broke and fell near Tiruldih on Muri-Chandil railway line, due to which two passengers in the train have suffered serious injuries. People who came with the injured passengers say that a passenger has also died in this accident, but railway officials have denied this.
Eyewitnesses have said that many people from Ranchi district have been injured, but railway officials have denied this. Both the injured were brought to Muri after first aid in Jhalda under the supervision of Railway’s ACMO Dr. J Kachhap. Both have been admitted to Singpur Nursing Home.
The injured include Rahul Kumar, a resident of Holor in Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh and Ram Shankar, a resident of Saroura in Raebareli. Both were going from Raebareli to Jamshedpur in S-4 bogie. Kapildev Karaundi, a resident of Bhai Khurd who accompanied them, said that they were standing near the gate after using the toilet in the morning.
In the meantime, with a loud sound, something like an iron rod passed by rubbing the train. Both of them got injured in this process. The train stopped after a while.
Railway ACMO Dr. J. Kachhap said that the condition of the injured person was very critical. Therefore, after getting first aid at the hospital in Jhalda, he was immediately brought to Muri and admitted to a private nursing home. Suisa RPF officials have also reached the hospital for examination.
Dr. Ram Naresh Prasad of Muri’s private hospital said that Rahul’s condition is very serious. Ram Shankar’s condition is stable. Both are being treated.
Senior DCM of Chakradharpur division said that it is being investigated whether this wire was already there due to the development work going on there or it broke and fell on the moving train or this accident happened due to someone’s negligence. All the remaining passengers are completely safe.
The wire fell on the moving train, in which both the passengers were hit. After this, people stopped the train and all the passengers were disembarked.
