Jamshedpur: An audit of NCC-affiliated schools and colleges under the 37 Jharkhand Battalion, Jamshedpur, was conducted on March 19, 2026, by Brigadier Ram Naresh, Group Commander of the NCC Group Headquarters, Gaya.
The audit was carried out as per the directives of Major General A.S. Bajaj, Additional Director General of the NCC Directorate (Bihar and Jharkhand). The 37 Jharkhand Battalion operates under the NCC Group Headquarters, Ranchi.
During the visit, Brigadier Ram Naresh inspected key institutions including Karim City College, Jamshedpur, and Loyola School, Bistupur. He was accompanied by Colonel Vinay Ahuja, Commanding Officer of the 37 Jharkhand Battalion NCC, and Administrative Officer Prem Chand Jha.
Apart from reviewing records, the Brigadier also interacted with NCC cadets and shared valuable insights about the organisation, its activities, and opportunities for students.
The primary aim of the audit was to ensure proper maintenance and management of important records related to NCC cadets and to assess the functioning of affiliated institutions.
The visit highlighted the NCC’s continued focus on discipline, training standards, and efficient administration across its units.
