Jamshedpur: Natwari Nritya Utsav was organized at Bengal Club, Sakchi, under the aegis of Nrityangan Institute of Performing Arts (NIPA) in collaboration with The Bengal Club on Tuesday. It was jointly inaugurated by Tapas Kumar Mitra, RK Agrawal and Sunil Kumar Mishra. The participants showcased their dancing skills in Kathak, Odyssey, Manipuri and Bharatnatyam.
A group dance was performed by the NIPA artists under the direction of Pundit Sandeep Bose and Soumi Bose. All performers were felicitated by the organizers.
Bharatnatyam guru Rita Mitra and Tabla maestro guru Mihir Banerjee were specially honoured on this occasion. A vote of thanks was proposed by Pundit Sandeep Bose.
