Jamshedpur: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) organized a captivating santoor recital by the renowned santoor maestro, Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, accompanied by tabla virtuoso Shree Jyotirmoyee Roychowdhury, in the Kusum Kamani Auditorium.
The event was graced by the presence of Devang Gandhi, Joint Secretary, Chandrakant Zatakia, Treasurer, distinguished members of the managing committee, members of the Gujarati community, as well as teachers, students, and other esteemed guests.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya, Shree Jyotirmoyee Roychowdhury, Chandrakant Zatakia, other managing committee members, and the school’s Principal, Paramita Roy Chaudhury.
Pandit Bhattacharya’s enchanting performance on the santoor, complemented by the rhythmic mastery of Shree Roychowdhury on the tabla, transported the audience into a realm of musical bliss. The recital showcased the rich cultural heritage of Indian classical music and left a lasting impression on attendees.
