Anita Khemka selected Sawan Queen on theme of ‘Anarkali Disco Chali’

Jamshedpur, August 7: Sawan Sindhara program on the theme, ‘Anarkali Disco Chali’ was organized and celebrated amidst great excitement on Saturday evening by Marwari Yuva Manch (MYM) Steel City branch’s Surabhi women’s wing. Anita Khemka was made Sawan Queen in a program organized under the leadership of Branch President Manisha Sanghi at a hotel in Sakchi. The program was successfully conducted by Branch Secretary Kavita Agrawal.
Women dressed up as Anarkali exhibited their unique concepts on the appearance of the lady who reigned over a million hearts during the Mughal era. Other cultural events on the occasion included solo, duet and group dances choreographed on Sawan themed songs. The winners in the dance categories included Usha Chowdhary and Rekha Sharma (1st and 2nd respectively in Solo Dance) and Pinky Kedia and Suman Jhajharia (1st and 2nd respectively in Duet Dance). In the Judge’s Choice round Vasundhara and Deepa Agrawal danced away with the top two honours. Founder and Director of Mudra School of Dance Saroj Agarwal judged the events. The purpose of Sindhara was well served with delicious cuisine that tickled every taste bud. The organizing team included Parul Chetani, Muskan, Pinky, Usha, Reena, Pinky, Anita, Ruchi, Rekha, Mamta, Vasundhara, Deepa, Seema, Rashmi, Jyoti, Priti, Minu, Shruti, Pinky, Suman, Sona, Nidhi, Neetu, Neelam, Rekha, Pinky etc. contributed.
