Mail News Service Jamshedpur, August 7: Congress National Spokesperson and former Jamshedpur MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar has written a letter to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren requesting him to include Hindi, Bhojpuri, Magahi, Angika languages in the list of regional languages in the appointment manual of Jharkhand State Staff Selection Commission. . In the letter, Dr Kumar has stated that in the Jharkhand cabinet meeting on Friday, a total of 12 regional tribal languages had been identified and approved for the examinations of the Jharkhand State Staff Selection Commission, which is was a good step towards employment opportunities for the people of state. But in districts like Deoghar, Godda, Palamau, Dhanbad, Sahibganj, Bokaro and others, most of the population speaks Hindi, Bhojpuri, Magahi due to which the native residents of these districts would be deprived of government jobs for non-inclusion of Hindi, Bhojpuri and Maghi languages in the list. Dr Ajoy Kumar has requested Chief Minister Hemant Soren to include Hindi, Maghi, Bhojpuri and Angika in the list of regional languages so as to provide equal opportunities to the candidates of Palamau, North Chhotanagpur and Santhal Pargana regions.
