Jamshedpur: Jharkhand State Minority Commission’s Vice Chairman Jyoti Singh Matharu has strongly condemned the news of the brutal murder of Sikh youth Malkit Singh in Khursipar, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh and has expressed his deep condolences towards the deceased Malkit Singh.
 Matharu talked to Mahendra Singh Chhabra, Chairman, Minority Commission, Chhattisgarh and took complete information about the incident. Chhabra said that after watching Ghadar movie and fighting over its scene, an innocent Sikh youth was brutally beaten due to which he died.
Chairman of Minority Commission Chhattisgarh told Matharu that in the meeting of Sikh Panchayat, a compensation of Rs 10 lakh was demanded by the government to the family of the deceased and to give a government job to one member of the family, which the government immediately accepted. The movement being carried out by the society has now ended. Matharu has demanded from the Chairman of the Minority Commission that arrangements should be made for complete security of the Sikhs of Chhattisgarh state and the government should instill confidence in the Sikh community that such incidents should not be repeated.
