Jamshedpur, Aug 9: East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla Friday said a district level programme would be organized tomorrow at XLRI Auditorium for distributing the benefits of Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana among the local farmers. As many as 1500 farmers from across East Singhbhum are expected to participate in the programme, he said.
Addressing a press conference at Jamshedpur Collectorate, Shukla said the district administration was making sincere efforts to maximize the number of beneficiaries under the said scheme. As many as 35 lakh farmers would get financial assistance worth Rs 3000 crore under the scheme. The scheme is being implemented online. So far 15 lakh farmers have registered themselves under the scheme. The scheme benefits would be directly transferred to the bank accounts of farmers, officials said.
