More Passenger Ticket Service Centers to open soon in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb 10: A plan to provide rail travel ticketing services nearer homes for travelers from Tatanagar has been initiated, with Passenger Ticket Service Centers set to open in various areas including Jugsalai, Adityapur, Mango, Baridih, and other regions of Jamshedpur. This initiative aims to eliminate the need for passengers to visit railway stations to book tickets. A Passenger Ticket Service Center was inaugurated in Kadma while similar centers were opened recently in Sakchi and Golmuri. Additionally, residents of Sonari have been availing this facility for the past two years. Commercial officials from Tata Nagar had identified several locations in Jamshedpur where plans were afoot to open Passenger Ticket Service Centers upon obtaining necessary approvals. This move will save passengers from incurring additional expenses associated with traveling to the station to purchase tickets. Moreover, reserved tickets are also being made available to passengers through post offices in Mango, Bistupur, and Telco.
