Monsoon enters Jharkhand through Santhal Pargana, maximum temperature falls to 38.8 degree Celsius in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 19: The southwest monsoon has entered Jharkhand on Monday via Santhal Pargana.

Monsoon winds are being witnessed in  Sahibganj, Godda, Dumka, Pakur of Santal Pargana. At the same time, in the next two to three days, the monsoon will extend to the whole of Jharkhand.

Talking about the last 24 hours, maximum rainfall has been recorded in Dumka and highest maximum temperature has been recorded in Daltonganj. On the other hand, as soon as the monsoon entered Jharkhand, a drop in the temperature of Jamshedpur has been registered.

Jamshedpur recorded a maximum temperature of 38.8 degree Celsius and a minimum temperature of 25.7 degree Celsius on Monday.

Monsoon will expand on June 20 and there is a possibility of rain with thundershowers at many places. During this, the wind speed will run at a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour. With this, rain is expected in all the districts of the state on June 21 i.e. Wednesday.

Heavy rain likely in eastern part of Ranchi along with Kolhan, Santal on June 21 and there is a possibility of heavy rains in the southern parts on Thursday,

As per data of Ranchi Met centre 87 percent less rainfall in entire Jharkhand till June 19 – Garhwa, Giridih, Chatra, Bokaro of Jharkhand have drought like situation.
