Jamshedpur, June 19 : A committee constituted under the chairmanship of ADC will investigate the change of site of the Anganwadi center run by the Social Welfare Department and the operation of women’s group and Anganwadi center by the same woman.
On the instructions of DC, ADC Jaideep Tigga has constituted a three-member investigation team. In which Block Development Officer Praveen Kumar and CDPO Suruchi Prasad are included. On June 21, the inquiry committee will conduct an on-the-spot investigation into the matter and record the statements of the people.
Complainant cum RTI activist Subhash Kumar Mittal said that several complaints were made on his behalf about the benefits of the government scheme being taken by only one family. In which the officials investigated it. But no action was taken. Re-investigation of the said matter was demanded.
After this, considering the seriousness of the allegations, the Deputy Commissioner ordered an inquiry. Subhash Kumar Mittal told that the Integrated Child Development Project (Anganwadi Center) was approved for Anandnagar by the Social Welfare Department. But it is being operated in Bajrang Tekri.
