Monsoon Day celebrated at Kerala Public School, Kadma

Jamshedpur, Aug 30: Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma, celebrated Monsoon Day with vibrant performances and enthusiastic participation from pre-primary students at the school amphitheater.

The event was graced by Principal Sharmila Mukherjee and Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar. The purpose of the celebration was to help children appreciate the importance of the monsoon season, its role in nature, and to foster creativity through engaging activities.

Around 179 students participated in the program, which began with a rain-themed welcome song. The tiny tots showcased their talents through nursery rhymes, an English speech on the joy of rain, and a rhythmic choral recitation. A colorful dance performance added to the festive spirit, bringing the beauty of the monsoon to life.

Students also spoke about the significance of rain in agriculture and daily living, while a cheerful ramp walk in rain-themed costumes stole the spotlight. Another lively choral recitation reinforced the theme of the day.

The Headmistress delivered an inspiring address, encouraging children to stay connected with nature, followed by a vote of thanks from student Sonakshi Mohanty. The program concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a day filled with learning, smiles, and creative expression.
