Jamshedpur, November 22. Miscreants snatched the mobile phone of Savita Devi, who lived near Sopodera Gandhi Maidan under Parsudih police station, in broad daylight.
Two youths riding a scooter who came from Sopodera Shiv Temple carried out the incident and fled towards Gandhi Maidan. This entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed nearby.
Victim Savita Devi, who reached the police station on Wednesday, told that she was standing in front of her shop on Tuesday morning. Then two young men came and, making the excuse of leaving the mobile at home, asked for the mobile to make calls.
Savita Devi brought her daughter-in-law’s mobile phone from home and gave it to a female neighbor standing there. As soon as the neighbor started dialing the number after asking the youth on her mobile, then both the miscreants pounced upon the opportunity, snatched the mobile and ran away from there.
On receiving information about the matter, the police reached the spot and examined the CCTV. No written complaint has been made in the police station in this regard.
