Jamshedpur, November 22. On Wednesday morning, a speeding pickup van hit an elderly man crossing the road on NH 33 under MGM police station.
The incident took place at 7 am in front of Gulati firecracker shop located in Deoghar Panchayat. In this accident, Charan Besra (50), resident of Deoghar village, died on the spot. After the incident, angry people blocked the road demanding compensation. After receiving the information, MGM police station in-charge and circle officer reached the spot and tried to convince the people.
