Jamshedpur: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) conducted a session on �Cyber Safety� in association with the crime cell of the police department of Jamshedpur.
Resource person for the session was Ravi Kant Mishra.
It was an interactive session for the students of class 9 to 12.
Ravi Kant Mishra said, inspite of being aware about the safety norms related to cyber activities, we still fall victims of the anonymous rather malicious group of people who are constantly working in the direction of replicating our private information and using it for their own interest. We better know this act of violating Cyber rules as �Hacking�.
The students were informed about the various ways in which we can fall victims of the malicious cyber activities like� Economic fraud and Social media related crimes.
The students were told not to- Share private information on social media platforms, never to reveal a bank account related information to any person on cell phone, tempting offers or games are not authentic, girls should never share their photographs on social media, not share password, or e-mail conversation with any one and use strong passwords.
