Rotary Steel City brings smiles to underprivileged children

Jamshedpur: Members of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City led by its President Hetal Adesara visited Mother Teresa Welfare Trust in Kharangajhar, Telco, on Tuesday and distributed school shoes among 32 needy children. This small act of kindness brought smiles on faces of children.

The event held on the eve of Independence Day also saw the members hand over national flags to the children.

It is worth mentioning that Mother Teresa Welfare Trust runs a CCI (Child Care Institute) registered under JJ Act (Juvenile Justice Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.

They look after orphan children by keeping them at their place and providing them home and family’s love and care. They also help poor/ needy girls, destitute and abandoned women. It also runs a counseling center.
