Jamshedpur: A group discussion entitled “Election Ka Danka” was organised at Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) this morning where students of class 8, 9 and 10 participated.
The panel discussion was organised with a view to check students awareness about the procedures of the functioning of the government and right to adult franchise.
Participants in this program included eight students. Each of who was the show stealer. Students presented an array of ideas, showcasing their knowledge about initiatives taken by the present and former governments. Points of interest included the Rafael deal, Ayushman Bharat, educational initiatives and others.
Teachers also participated there by making the discussion value added.
The programme concluded with closure statements by the honorary general secretary, Dr. DP Shukla who expressed joy at the knowledge and articulatory skills of students.
The programme was organised by the history teacher, Madhuja ghosh. Participation certificates were presented to all the students. Students were urged to ensure that their parents participated in the voting process/ elections this year.
