MNPS felicitates meritorious students at annual award ceremony

Jamshedpur, Aug 12: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) hosted its Annual Awards Ceremony . The ceremony was a mega success as this was the first ever virtual Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony conducted by the school to felicitate the students based on their accomplishment in the previous academic year.
The school honored all its achievers for attaining a sterling record both in scholastic and non-scholastic domain. Therefore, it was not only the Academic excellence that was appreciated but also categories such as Search Light Award, Best Outgoing, Atal Innovation Mission Award, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Trophy and Star Awards were honored. Around 31 students were felicitated for their outstanding achievements.
The ceremony commenced by invoking God’s blessings followed by welcome address by principal of the school Ashu Tiwary and was taken further by the comparers on the virtual platform. Students presented a theme based program spreading a noble message of water conservation for sustainable development.
The Best Outgoing from the primary level was bagged by Vaibhavi Srivastava of Std.VC. The Search Light award went to Yogish Awasthi of Std.III , Priyanshi Manna of Std IV and Ujjwala Sahu of Std. V. In the high school level the Search Light Award was bagged by Aniket Das of Std.VII and Shivam Layek of Std.VI. The Atal Innovation Mission Award was bagged by Chirag , Siddhesh and Arnav Sinha of Std.VIII. The President’s Award was achieved by Shaily Jain of Std. XII . The most prestigious Principal’s Award went to Akshansh Ranjan and Sristi Raj of Std.X and Shivam Jha of Std. XII . The famous Star Awards was bagged by Ritu Raman and Akshansh Ranjan of Std. X . The Best Boy and Girl Award of std X went to Ritu Raman and Bhavika Ashmi Verma . Anshra Jahan was facilitated for making the school proud by securing second prize in Essay Writing competition organized by Atomic Mineral Directorate for Exploration and Research on the occasion of the National Science Day. The winning team of the ATL Quiz competition Vaibhavi Srivastava, Ritu Kumari, Ujjawala Sahu and Aradhya Choubey were awarded for their outstanding performance at city level.
Principal of the school motivated the winners and went on to remind them to uphold the values of the institution. The Chairman of the school V.S. Rana and honorary secretary Dr. D.P. Shukla appreciated the efforts put in by the students and faculty and wished them to come through flying colors in future too.
The stream of appreciation pouring in from all the parents truly showcased the joy of the students upon receiving such honor. The Vice Principal of school Dr. Ritu Choudhry thanked all students, teachers and parents for their hard work and positive approach towards making online classes a success and making Annul Prize Ceremony a memorable one.
