Jamshedpur, Aug 12: An attempt was made to rob Canara Bank’s ATM near Sahara India office located at Ghatshila main market on Wednesday night. The thieves failed to break the ATM. Earlier too incidents of ATM thefts have been reported. As soon as the incident was reported, Ghatshila police station in-charge Indradev Kumar Ram, SI Anish Kumar rushed to the spot along with the team force and took information about the incident and also checked other ATMs nearby. After this, the police are engaged in scanning the monitor of the CCTV camera installed inside Canara Bank so that any clue can be found. These types of theft and snatching incident have created an atmosphere of fear among the people of the area.
