Rotary Jamshedpur opens Rural Covid vaccination centre at KPS Gamharia

Jamshedpur, Aug 12: In view of the possible Covid-19 third wave, Rotary Club of Jamshedpur and Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West, have set up a Rural Covid Care Centre at the KPS, Gamharia, to inoculate the villagers in the region and surrounding villages.

Arava Rajkamal, deputy commissioner, Saraikela-Kharsawan, Subodh Kumar, ADC, Dr. Lal, CS inaugurated the vaccination centre in presence of Rotary District Governor Pratim Banerjee, Assistant governor Shweta Chand.

Rotary Clubs have set a target of vaccinating 200 people every day and the drive will continue till the last person of the area is vaccinated against Coronavirus.

Meanwhile, a team of villagers are spreading awareness in and around the villages to continue observing Covid protocols, and promoting vaccination.

DC Arava Rajkamal pledged his support to make the drive successful.

DG Pratim congratulated the team working to make the vaccination drive a success and thanked the district administration for their support.

Sharat Chandran, Director, KPS Schools rendered his support for the cause and congratulated the team. 

The vaccination drive is headed by Dr. Amit Mukherjee.

Rotary Club’s district dignitaries including Secretary Alokananda Bakshi, PDG Vijay Mehta, Ronald D’Costa, Dr. R. Bharat along with President and secretary of both the clubs.
